I am living in Florida and am trying to make a power of attorney that will be effective in the Philippines. I am using the sample consulate form that is provided on their web site. I will be having the document authenticated at a consulate office. I am worried about the requirements for the power of attorney, I don't want to go through all that trouble and then find out its not effective.

The form has a classification called "single/married", is this a requirement for a power of attorney? If someone is married, do they need to list the name of their spouse and have them sign?

I am designating two people to act as agents, I assume that is okay?

Are there any other requirements that I should know about?

a lot will depend what powers you are granting. if to sell real estate, the marital status will matter.
