Hi:

May I just ask why is that our law about slight physical injury entails the suspect to only pay 300php and 30 days of imprisonment if proven guilty? Is this right?

because that law was created when $1 = Php1

btw, slight means the victim was not hospitalized more than 3days and that the injury healed in 3 days (e.g. pasa dahil kinurot mo, bukol dahil kinotongan mo, pero pag hinamapas mo ng tubo lampas 1 week yun bago gumaling, serious physical na yun)
