Hi atty.

I was just curious about this article that I read about filing a case of psychological abuse rather than bigamy which is quite difficult to prove- according to the same article.

May I also seek advise as to how we should dissolve our catholic marriage now that he is a muslim. Do we just go through the islam divorce? or do we still need to undergo annulment?

i'm not confident in answering about islamic law. i would consider proving bigamy, if with proper evidence, easier to prove.

Under the Philippine consti, we are still supposed to undergo the annulment procedure because our wedding was done under christian and civil rites, right?
