having a relationship with a married guy

we were together for more than a year now and before maging kami alam ko n hiwalay na sila ng wife (hindi nga lang legally). we have an informal relationship, merely boyfriend, girlfriend lang, and no sexual intercourse. we dont live together. he never claimed me as his wife to anybody. things when smoothly until recently all of a sudden his wife wants to get back together with him, and then she started saying bad things about me, sa ibang tao pa. malandi daw ako, walanghiya, binabantaan ako na ipapakulong daw ako, and even threatens about me taking my board exam (im a nursing graduate). she even sent a message to a friend of mine on fb saying na kabit nga daw ako, hindi man lang daw ako mahiya naninira ako ng pamilya which is not true.. before pa naging kami hindi na sila nagsasama for more than 2 years. it affected me drastically, naapektuhan na pagrereview ko. what should i do? can i file a libel case against her?

tell your bf to handle her.

if you can present the fb message and prove that she was the sender then you can file a case of libel. if you can produce the persons to whom she said the derogatory remarks, you can file slander.

she stated her name in the message although hindi nya account un.. does that count as a proof?

if i were your lawyer, i would file the case against both the account holder and the other person.

she's saying that she'll sue me and my bf. can we really go to jail because of this?

Hi. I have nearly the same case as prinsesajo. I am currently in SG and I had a relationship with a married but separated guy. At the time that we met, they were already separated and my bf was already on the process of filing for an annulment.
Things were going on smoothly until the exwife started bothering us again. She said that she would file for an affidavit to counter the annulment case that my bf has filed. Guess that things hasnt been going on smoothly in her life so she wants to wreck some havoc again. She threatened that she will include me in her affidavit as the reason why they can no longer fix their marriage and that she would be asking for support equivalent to 70% of my bf's salary. My bf's lawyer advised my bf that if would be better if he ends things with me so I can be safeguarded from the case.
Can the wife include me in the case? What should I do if she does? And is the lawyer's advice sound?

please search grounds for annulment. you can also approach a lawyer to review his marital history
