What are the rules for laying off an employee? Can we do this just by issuing some sort of memo (avoid face to face confrontation in short)
We hired an HR Manager and she will be regularized soon but prior to her regularization, our operations manager informed us that we no longer need her services and will just hire HR Officers instead. This will allow us to hire more people at the same cost, which means that more work will be done.
Performance wise, they are unhappy and feels that we will be better of without her as her lack of experience in the industry that our company is in, is turning out to be a liability.
