My dad owns a property in Cavite and gave it to me as a wedding gift. However, the lot is still in his name.
What is the best way for us to transfer the lot in my name?
Some friends advised using the deed of donation. It would allow us to pay less tax too, according to them. Others say a deed of sale is better, that my dad will just sell it to me for a price lower than the zonal value.
But since it is a wedding gift, what would be the best solution and process for us to transfer the name from my dad to me.
