Libel Suit Against a Parent

Good evening! I am new to this group and badly need some legal help. I am a teacher in a private school and had been working there for 3 years now. Recently may nagareklamo na parent dahil pinatayo ko daw ang anak nya at ibang bata ng matagal. Pinatayo sila kasi hindi sila sumunod sa ground rules ng klase at paulit ulit na nila ginawa after several verbal warnings. Nag file ng complaint ang magulang at sinabing child abuse daw yun, malpractice at corporal punishment. Chineck ko na po ang mga information sa mga words na yun. There is no category where standing up will fall. Gusto ko po sana mag file ng libel suit sa magulang na yun. Kasi nakakasira po ang mga remarks nya ng honor at dignidad ng guro. Ano po maipapayo nyo?
