Hi,

When I apply for an NBI Clearance, I was shocked to know that I have a case which was provisionally dismissed.

There was no preliminary hearings or any court related activities that was sent to me whatsoever regarding the case.

It was later that I found out that a former office mate of mine filed a case against me. Since her wife is working in the court, they somehow were able to file the case without my knowledge.

Since they have no legal basis to accuse me and it was more than 10 yrs ago, the case was provisionally dismissed.

Since there was not a single court hearing regarding this, is this a valid case that would affect my NBI clearance? Although the NBI gave me a local clearance, they told me that I cannot get an NBI clearance for which the purpose is working abroad.

What should I do to clear this record? Please advice. Thank you.
