Good Morning Atty.
I'm currently working as an graphic artist in a company for 2yrs now. But this January 30, 2012 I plan to resign from my job to look opportunities outside the country. So I filed a resignation letter to the company this December 30, 2011 (30-days before my resignation as said on the law and on our company policy). But my manager said that I should adjust my resignation to March 30,2012. IS IT LEGAL FOR THE COMPANY TO ADJUST EMPLOYEE RESIGNATION, EVEN IF THE EMPLOYEE IT SELF IS NOT FAVOR IN THIS ADJUSTMENT? Is there any problem if the employee refuse in this adjustment? Please help me ASAP. I really need your help.

they can't compel you to go beyond 30 days without your consent.

they probably will, but you cannot prevent them from thinking that. nevertheless, the labor code allows you to leave after 30 days notice.
