Hi Everyone,

Maybe we can come up with a list of all Recommended books for each subject. Law books are very expensive so it would be good if we know that what we buy is really going to be helpful.

From my list:

Criminal Law - Reyes
Obligation and Contracts - Jurado
Constitutional Law - Nachura
Transportation Law - Aquino
Conflict of Laws - Sempio-Diy
Partnership - De Leon
Security Transactions - De Leon
Taxation Law - Vitug and Acosta and Dimaampao's "Tax Principles and Remedies"

my prof. recommend rufus rodriguez book in transpo. it is not complete so i supplement it with the reviewer of dean sundiang and com rev of villanueva.

dean sundiang was my professor in insurance and nego.. we used Aquino for insurance and Agbayani for nego..

tax-mamalateo(my professor recommended this. she ranked no. 2 sa bar and no. 1 sa CPA board)

consti- Bernas, Nachura for the reviewer

Remedial law-Riano, Regalado, and Herrera combined,, and gather all the JARA notes you can find..(biased bedan? hehe)

For Labor Standards and Relations, I prefer Chan (Vols. I and II) over Azucena. Though you need to allot more time to read them.

As to Labor Law review, Azucena's green book is good but I heard from friends that Chan's Labor Law Reviewer is also a must read.
