Good day Atty.

My middle name in my child's BC is LAROA but my real middle name is GARCIA.

Could I file this under R.A. 9048? because I think the person who typed my child's BC mixed up the letters like in GARCIA, I think letter "G" was mistakenly typed as "L" and letters "C" & "I" were joined so she thought that it's letter "O". So the outcome is LAROA instead of GARCIA.

I told the person who typed the BC that what she typed was incorrect, she just smiled at me. I had an NSO copy of my child's BC and my middle name there is LAROA.

i can't agree that's a typo. the definition of a typo is that it should be apparent from the document itself. that will require a court petition.
