hi i hope you can help me...i have loan to a bank and unfortunately i wasnt able to settle my dues. i have already received demand letter. im willing to make a settlement however the amount that they're asking iss triple to the amount i borrowed. is there any way that i can lesser the amount that i need to pay?thanks for the help

yes i did.but that was for the principal amount plus interest. im willing to pay the total amount in amicable settlement but the total that they;re asking is triple the amount that i borrowed.i know that there would be penalties.

you or your spouse should avoid personally signing for any demand letters. all you can do now is to keep negotiating with them.

thanks atty for your help. but im quite afraid with the content of their demand letter. it says that they will request to seize my personal properties even garnishing my salaries and bank deposits:(
