Hello,
A piece of residential lot from my grandfather was to be divided into two between me(since my father has passed away) and my uncle. I would like to ask how is the procedure to be done such that I could have the half of the lot be titled under my name. However, my uncle doesn't have the money for the processing of his part of the lot. Is it possible to just process the papers of the half of the lot? Thank You.

i'm not a lawyer, but i don't think so... sir, better if you go to the register of deeds and inquire about the process and procedure as well as the approximate cost.

is the property covered by a tct? under whose name? who died first, your grandfather or father?

thank you for the response.

the original title was under the name of my grandfather. My grandfather died first. i intend to get a loan from PAGIBIG that's why I want our share of the lot to be titled under my name, with the consent of my mother and my siblings.

you have to process the entire lot. you have to settle the estate of both your grandfather and father.
