seek legal opinion

Hi! Anyone who could share legal opinion on my problem. I am presently a government employee with a temporary status. I have already rendered 2 years in the government service. My appointment is renewable every six months and this december it will already expire. I have the feeling that I will not be renewed anymore since there is an interested applicant to my position. However, I am also afraid that I'll be removed anytime from my position before my term ends that is on december this year.

My question is: Can I be removed from my office anytime before december ends? Need your legal opinion on this. I'm bothered now.
