chasing someone u trusted

hi. my bf n i are in a dilemma. around june 2010 my bf allowed a couple who we will name j and jacky to live in his house for free. they were in dire need of a place to stay so my bf made simple rules: pay half d electric bill. free rent. everything in the house is theirs to use.

before living wid my bf, dey still had previously unpaid utang. they promised they would pay in tge next month.

my bf, being a trusting guy, always gave them leeway. a year passed n dey havent paid. which is ok. until one day they just disappeared. they removed my bf from fb. did not answer call n txts.

they disappeared wen d electric bill became too high.

the only evidence we have of any agreement are witnesses. plus i know their bills were redirected to my bf's address.

im not concerned about paying d bill. luckily we have money. we hav money. but i really want them to have a case. they won't b able to get away with taking advantage of my boyfriend.

my bf gave then everything n they just took advantage of him. will they just be able to run away from it?

is there something we can do?

and the story I mentioned is just half of it. I'm not sure wat information is needed.

sadly I know it's an impossible situation. I just don't want them to get away with it. I don't want them to think that they can use my bf and get away with it.

I'm aware that it is impossible to legally chase them although I know where they are staying now. but in just hoping I can settle this in a legal way.

it might fall under other estafa under other deceits, but to me it's more of a civil case for collection.
