Our Father has signed a contract to pay for the costs of deployment for a certain project. But he has already died. His assets are less than the contract itself if you compute it. Does the other party (the partner which my dad has signed the contract with) have the right to acquire my father's assets to suffice the deployment of the contract?

please help. thanks
