atty , insane persons ay walang pananagutan pag ito ay nakapanakit ng kapwa tao or if he/she commited a crime.. ang tanong ko po ay may liability po ba ang mga magulang pag hinayaang pagala-gala ang kanilang anak, knowing that he is very violent lalo na pag sinusumpong...?

insanity should first be validated by medical experts. considering that there are people who suffer from lucid interval. He may hurt someone during the time that his brain functionality led to violence but returns to normalcy after a while. If this is the case you can charged the person who inflict harm.

You can implead the parents in the charged sheet but you need to prove that the parents were neglectful to insure the proper care and handling of their kid.
