hi atty, i just want to know what is the proper way to terminate a contract. because the landlord had already told us that we just terminate the contract even if there is still 8months left and we agreed kasi ayaw na rin namin ng gulo. i just want to be sure na hindi naman kami baligtarin at kasuhan ng landlord after nagkasundo kami verbally na tapusin nalang ang contract.

hingi lang po ako ng payo kung ano ba gagawin namin para legal yung pag-terminate ng contract kasi wala na kaming tiwala sa landlord dahil sa mga ginagawa nya sa more than 2months na pangungupahan namin.

the only thing you really can do is to set in writing. what happens to your deposit? you can also write a letter which states your agreement so at least you have a record of what was talked about.
