I would like to seek advice regarding the travel restrictions imposed on Iraq,Nigeria,Jordan, Afghanistan and Lebanon. I was just recently denied boarding my flight to Singapore by Immigration agents at terminal 1 as my passport has Afghan Visa stamped valid till July 2011. My alibi is I'm not going to Afghan as I was already terminated and I have documents that I am going only to Singapore. Is this alibi valid. Is there any recourse as I have no more job to support my family? Thanks a lot

a state has the right to limit travel to places where it believes that its citizens will be in danger.
