I am currently rendering my 30days of resignation as required by HR,in the middle of my 30days the company decided to re-structure the company.Cessation was served for several people with the same position as me due to redundancy of the position. Our position does not exist anymore, as of today, but they still want me to come to work until my last day in the company.I was not included in the cessation. Am I entitled for a cessation(separation pay)even though i am resigning?

Also, is forced terminal resignation or immediate resignation by my employer for my last two weeks, legal? because of the situation.

if you resigned, then you are not entitled to notice and separation pay.

both of you have to agree if you will render less than 30 day notice.
