hi i am currently working for a bpo company right now that is planning to move to another location. they already move some of the agents to the other site. Then they just inform us last week that we will be moving as well starting next week. i just filed a resignation letter yesterday because the new site is too far for me. The effectivity of my resignation letter is only until next week. Just want to ask if they can still deduct something from my last pay even though i wasn/t able to render 15-30 days due to the fact that they just inform us that we will have to move the the new location and its lower than 15 days?

they should still pay you for the days worked. when an employee does not render 30 day notice, the employer is entitled to damages, but this cannot be deducted from the salary but has to be claimed separately.

i'd advise you to negotiate with your HR for an orderly exit.
