What is the sharing in net estate in this family set up?

Arresto Menor

FACTS:

  • Estate of husband, with:
  • (1) legal wife with (2) legitimate children who have been separated from the husband for over 20 years
  • Legal wife has had other relationships in the past 20 years
  • (1) live in "wife" with (1) illegitimate child who the husband has supported and lived together with for the past 20 years
  • A document has been drafted and signed by all parties regarding the division of the net estate

QUESTIONS:

  1. Will the document drafted be followed? Or will the law prevail?
  2. If so, what does the law prescribe? (State references)
