Employment Bond

Hi Good Day everyone
I just have a fee question regarding a bond that i have signed from my previous company. My current job is with a government here in the philiplines, and they arr requiring me to get a clearance from my previous job stating i have no liabilities. The question is this, i have been terminated by my previous job, due to a mild misconduct of bringing a cellphone inside, which i open heartedly accepted, but, theres a bond i signed, regardless wether i was terminated or resigned i will still need to pay which im willing to comply naman, but as much as possible gusto ko sana hinde, kc gnawa ko naman work ko ng tama, and accidents do happen sometimes. Ask ko lang sana kung kailangan ko ba talaga,or is there a way to waive the bond, if not is there also a way to get a clearance and promise them that il pay them in an installment form..

you have to ask your former employer kung papayag sila. it will be very difficult to get clearance from them if they are trying still trying to collect something from you

I havent heard from them naman since the decision.
But isnt it illegal for a company na habulin ang employee if they were the one who initiated to lay me off the company? I know i did sign a bond stating regardless if i was terminated.. But is it?

its never illegal na maghabol.  its just that if mali sila then pag nag file sila ng case against you then dapat matalo sila
