Has this Attorney committed a malpractice?

Arresto Menor

Hi,

My ex Filipina partner is trying to defraud me of the highly successful business that I have developed, to try to keep things simple there are/were three parties:

A. The previous owners of this land.

B. My ex Filipina partner

C. Myself

Back in 2013 C bought this land from A and put it in the name of B, that was the end of A's involvement, they no longer owned this land and because they are particularly nasty people any of C's business dealings have been kept confidential from them.

Thereafter B leased the land to C on a rent free 25 year lease agreement.

Now, in 2017, B's attorney has written to C citing non payment and ignoring repeated demands for 54 monthly rental payments of PHP2,000.00 and dictating immediate cancellation of the lease agreement and giving C 10 days notice to leave this (C's) land.

Now C's major grievance is that B's attorney has copied the letter to A, a letter that cites that C has not been paying his bills, has ignored repeated reminders, and that C is being evicted.

Having copied this to party A within days this shall become the gossip of this island that C's business is on and indeed it shall be on facebook. A have had no business nor legal interest in this land since 2013, has B's attorney committed any malpractice by transmitting to them a letter that badmouths C and, wrongly, alleges that C is a dishonest person?

Furthermore, B's attorney categorically states that the lease agreement calls for a payable monthly rent of PHP2,000.00 when it doesn't, that repeated reminders have been sent to C when they haven't and that C was forewarned when he wasn't, are attorneys permitted transmit such lies without any supporting evidence?

And if any malpractice has been committed what can C do about it?

Thanks
