Warrant of Arrest

Hi Attorney,
I would like to seek some advise regarding my case. It was brought to my attention (from a neighbor) that a certain police officer is trying to look for me asking if a certain person lives in my address. According to the police, I allegedly have a case of estafa and a warrant of arrest has already been issued. I didn't receive any notification or whatsoever of the said case and I can't recall anything that I have done in the past that would result to an estafa. What I only have is an unpaid salaray loan which I stopped paying 2 years ago (my former employer failed to pay it). Will that alone be a reason to file an estafa against me? How to get charged of an estafa to begin with? Is the "warrant of arrest" legal? What is the process of issuing a warrant, will it have prior notices before it can be issued?

for a warrant of arrest to be issued, it should be that there were previous notices to submit a counter affidavit. nevertheless, without notices, the warrant is not rendered void.

find out where the case is pending and learn the details. based on your narration, that isn't basis for estafa.
