Magandang araw sa inyong lahat. Isa akong contractual employee. My contract will end this May 8 po. Nag-incur ako nang unofficial sick leaves for two weeks since April 11. For the first day, I notified my supervisor about it pero after that hindi na. I then received a memorandum from my employer after two weeks requesting for explaination. I provided them with one kasama na ang medical certificate ko na nag-advise na I need to take a rest for several days but does not include all the days that I was absent since it was around holy week at medyo kapos ako financially. Pabalik balik ho ang pagkakasakit ko since February pero pinilit kong ipagpatuloy ang pagtatrabaho. Kaya ho nag-request p akoor immediate resignation since for several months pabalik balik ang pagkakasakit ko. Hindi na ako nakabalik sa work ko hanggang ngayon. Now, ayaw tanggapin nang employer ko ang resignation letter kasi humihingi sila nang lab results and unfit to work recommendations. Maari po ba nilang tanggihan ang aking request for resignation at itag ako as AWOL? At ano po rin ang maari kong gawin upang madepensahan ang aking sarili without an unfit to work recommendation? yes pwede ka nilang itag as awol. AWOL means absence without leave. Tutuo naman diba? Hindi ka pumasok without filing a leave.

Maari po na tutuo yan.What if makaprovide po ako nang medical certificates during some of the days na nag-absent ako until sa end of contract ko po, maari pa rin po ba nila akong itag as AWOL? Is there anyway na hindi ito mangyari? I was sincerely sick at the time at nasasayangan na po ako nang pera sa paghihingi nang med certs kasi kapos na ako at pabalik balik ang anemia ko. Salamat ho sa pagpansin at pagsagot nang post ko.

Alam mo, kung hindi ka talaga nagpaalam, kahit ano pang sabihin mo AWOL yan. Mahirap bang tumawag man lang? Pwera na lang kung mamamatay ka na talaga sa sakit eh. Kung considerate ang employer mo baka siguro palampasin pa yan kung makakapag provide ka ng medical certificate covering all of your absences.

Isipin mo rin ang losses ng employer mo hindi yung sayo lang.
