I am renting a house and were planning to move out. Yesterday the ceiling is leaking and flooding the whole floor from living room to bedroom. And today the ceiling in the bedroom falls. And take note im sleeping at the upper bunk of the bed. Which is dangerous. And our personal papers are all wet as well as our other things like clothes, pillows etc.
This is not the first time we are having this problem.
We paid them 1month advance and 2 months deposit. Can we get it back. We are cleaning the whole house although its not our fault and the house is well maintained.
Any advice? And also we only have a verbal agreement cause the owner left before we could even sign the contract. I mean they go out of town. We are paying them through bank deposit and we gave them our resume.
