Hi,

Does the employer have the right to suspend or terminate you for emergency leaves due to childcare?

Yes, eventually, due to excessive absences which are over and above what may be allowable.

What if its only a 7 days, and I have available leave credits? Can I be sanctioned?

if the leaves were not approved prior to you availing of them, you may still be sanctioned
