I don't know saan ba dapat ako mag-post.

The issue is, my fiance's parents wants to book us a flight to Switzerland. The thing is ang sabi ng mom-in-law-to-be ko ay dapat kasal kami ng fiance ko para maaprubahan ang visa ko considering wala akong work that will back up my claim na babalik ako ng pinas. They are planning to book us around April or May next year pero I don't know how long ba ang pag process ng marriage if sa Feb kami magpakasal.

Thanks.

Visa to visit or visa to stay "for ever"?

I don't know about Switzerland, but in Europe it's common to approve TOURIST Visa IF the Swizz inviter can show money enough to GUARANTEE the living costs for the visitors until the Visa expire.
Some countries agree to extend Visas when you are there if the living costs are guarantee for that period too.
But in some cases it's demanded to go to your home country and apply from there again...
I GUESS you have to go home after marriage to change it to Visa related to marriage.

You will get OUT of Switzerland within the Visa period undepending of if you have got new name by marriage. You just use the old passport with the Visa mark.

Flight tickets can always be rebooked. And traveling with your single name passport is not an issue as long as you have the right visa, your flight ticket and passport names are match. But you do need to submit marriage certificate upon getting visas.
