Hi everyone. I just need someone to enlighten me regarding the right of representation. I am in this situation where my grandparents died and left some properties but my father died before his parents died. Now my uncle and aunties which are siblings of my father are acting like they own everything. They even want us out in one of the houses which belong to our grandparents. My question is, do my brother and i have the same equal rights with the siblings of my father over their parents' properties even if some of these properties are named under my father's siblings? One of my uncle who wants these properties be equally divided told me that there was a document, each one of them was given a copy and its written there that these properties are under only their names to protect it from people who wants claims should their business fails. But this said business does not exist anymore. Sad part is no one can find this document. What right do my brother and i have over these properties?
