Hi,

For the computation of the last pay. Is it legal that we add the allowance to the basic and apply tax to the total. Since it is the last pay? For example:

Basic: 25,000
Allowance: 5,000

Total 30,000

Yung 30,000 na po ang taxable for last pay. Instead of 25,000 lang.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Ung 5k kasi is transpo allowance. Naka tax shield po siya every payroll. Pero nun nag resign na si employee sinama po ang allowance sa basic and then taxable na po lahat. Is that legal po ba? To include the tax shield allowance sa basic at apply as taxable lahat for the last pay?

Thanks!
