Is this can be file of carnapping?

Good afternoon.
My friend name Angelo has a problem.
The auntie (Jessa) of his live-in partner borrowed their tricycle and promised for a boundary payment of 1,500 per week. Their Auntie Jessa also has a live-in partner named Mario.
Since it is their relative, they tusted to lend them their tricycle for the the agreed boundary fee. Their agreement of the use of their trycicle should be with in Sta. Rosa Laguna only.
On February 1, 2016, they have heard that their Auntie Jessa and live-in partner Mario, had a quarrel and fight.
Mario hurt jessa which resulting to grave bruises. Mario left their house stealing the jewelries and money of their Auntie Jessa and Mario also took their tricycle.
Angelo got worried of his tricycle so he immediately reported this to the police station. After one day, they've heard that Mario together their tricycle was seen in Tanza Cavite.
Angelo went back to the police station to file a carnapping case against Mario.
After 11 days, They were informed by the relative of Mario that the tricycle was in Binan Laguna. So Angelo went immediately to the police station of Binan Laguna and they found his tricycle then.The police reported that the tricycle was abandoned 3 days already somewhere in barangay Binan so they took the tricycle to the police station.

Can Angelo still file a case of carnapping to Mario?

Only estafa case since there was a juridical transfer of the the thing borrowed. In carnapping, the taking of the motorcycle must be without the consent of the owner.
