i am soon to be divorced woman..based here in europe.. i am no longer a filipino citizen.. ask ko lng po pano ko po transfer sa name ng soon to be husband ko ang title ng house and lot na nasa name nya lng kasi it was named sa aming dalawa.. though it was bought with my money, bigay ko na lng sa kanya para at least, may parte sya sa pinagtrabahuhan nya here when he joined me here abroad.. how will i go through the process please, as i do not wanna go to that place,myself, anymore just to get the title from him to have it changed to his name only.. and how long will it take and how much kaya magastos ko? filipino citizen pa rin ang soon to be ex husband ko and sa pinas ang property.. am not a dual citizen po..

the by the book process is to have your divorce recognized here through a petition for recognition of foreign judgment. in the same proceedings, your properties can be liquidated and it can be agreed that the property be given to him.

otherwise, as per records, you are both considered to be still married and and any sale, transfer or donation between you will be void.

[b] follow up question ko lng po.. f ever am going to re marry, at d po naayos ang name sa title, before and after my 2nd marriage, ano po ang mangyayari? i mean, will it create a problem in case the names- which is in my name and my husband's, haven't been changed?

or you can issue Special power of attorney authorizing him to sign in your behalf. that way he can sell it anytime. good luck.
