Hi ask ko lng po mam/sir kasi po ngayon hinihingan kami ng embassy ng divorce or annulment papers pero wala po kami non wala n kasi communication ung asawa ko sa 1st husband niya for like 10 years na though nung ng hiwalay sila my written letter sila saying n hiwalay n sila signed by both parties, ano po kya pwede namen gawen? Is notarized letter from an atty will be sufficient? Salamat po sa sasagot.

I think they don't go thru annulment process. "Pirmahan" cannot dissolve a marriage. if will not give you a liberty to marry again. And no lawyer in his right mind will note that "Pirmahan" saying na dissolve na ang kasal nila or malaya na sila magpakasal sa iba.
