ask lang po yung sister ko po kasi may two years old na anak, ngayon niya lang sinabi sa boyfriend nia na hindi sa kanya ang bata, ngayon nakikipag ayos po kami sa boyfriend nia na babayaran na lang ang mga nagastos sa bata, ngunit humihingi po ng 1milyon bilang kabayaran sa na gastos sa bata, may kaso po ba na pwedeng ma isampa sa kapatid ko?SALAMAT

Criminally no(not sure), but civilly yes. 1 million settlement i think is reasonable, because if the boyfriend of your sister go to court for civil case for damages, the court would award 1 million or more damages, especially the moral damage. Well im not a judge or anything to know about estimation of damages to be awarded. But if i were you, try to bargain around that 1 million, let us say 500k or something, and payment in installment. The story would be different if they are married
