hi, I have a problem with PXXX I have applied for an internet connection last January from them for my ISP project here in the province, they processed my application and got my NTC permit as one of their requirement and also gave a downpayment.But as of Now, Its already November and still no connection.

I am planning to discontinue our contract, can I seek for damages? I already invested on equipments, office, computers, cables as well as the ntc permit and the downpayment. Can I ask damages from them?

you can certainly cancel the contract and try to get downpayment. you can ask for damages but it will be unlikely they will agree. if you plan to pursue, send a demand letter first.

thank you sir for the advise, i wrote a demand letter stating that if they can't give me the connection within a week, i will file for damages.
after 1 day, they replied and told me that they already allocated me a connection and will be completed in a week time.
at last my project will push thru..thank you sir...

where can i file the case against the telecom company because it's seem that NTC has no legal basis in hearing the case ?They continue sending us billing statement even if we had no internet connection - no service from that company and yet we had to pay.

junio, what does this mean, if you plug in a modem right now to your phone, there will be no dsl? you never applied for a dsl connection?

bundle package from Globe telecom -fixed 999 land line and internet connection.We even finished the so called lock in period from Globe , so we really suffer from their inhumane service.

a big yes -no service means no dial tone and no internet connection but there is a billing come to us during those months.

send a demand letter to the company. if they do not refund, your remedy is to file a small claims case against the company with the mtc.

what we've done we call the globe thru their complaint hotline 173, informing them that we will not continue the service from their company ,but the response from globe telecom is a continuous billing statement, until we received a demand letter from their lawyer informing us that we must settle the account. we already forwarded this incidence to the NTC but so far up to now no definite answer has been given to us.

the problem is that you don't have proof now that you requested the termination of the service. anyway, you can respond to the lawyer by stating that you did so through their hotline. good luck.

Hi I just would like to clarify if globelines can block my NBI clearance as thier "legal attorney" said when he called me through phone?

I didnt pay my bills so that they would disconnect me from thier unsatisfactory service.He said my case would be breach of contract that I signed upon installation of internet.

Unless I pay almost 5k in for disconnection fee and internet usage, he said I would have difficulty having my NBI clearance.Do they really have the capacity to put records into someone's NBI clearance immediately without going to a case with me 1st?

hi everyone, my isishare lang din po ako about pxxx and at the same time mag ask ng kunting advice na rin... pagdating ko galing work ngayong gabi may nakita akong demand letter from a collection agency of pxxx, dated feb 16, 2012 yung letter. at sinisingil nila ako ng amount na Php562.46, kung tutuusin maliit na halaga lang naman. pero masakit naman sa loob magbayad kasi sa serbisyong di mo naman napakinabangan, di ba? tsaka yung account ko is discontinued na last 2010 pa, at bago ko yun pinaputol (dahil na rin nga sa poor na services ng phone at dsl nila) ay binayaran ko na yung natitira ko pang bill around, 2k. ang pagkakamali ko lang ay di na ako humingi ng clearance, bale verbal lang naging usapan naman nung nasa customer care. isa pa, bago ako nag settle ng bill ko ay wala na talagang service yung line nila kaya nga nagdecide na akong ipaputol na lang kesa ikabit nila uli tapos after ilang weeks magloloko na naman. nagtataka lang ako kung pano pa nag-generate yung 562.46 pesos bill na yun gayong wala na ngang serbisyo ang linya nila. at bakit nila pinasa sa collecting agency ang usapin na ito, ni wala akong natanggap na abiso galing mismo sa pldt na mayroon akong unsettled bill. ngayon ang tanong ko, kailangan ko bang tawagan yung collecting agency para ipaliwanag or pupuntahan ko muna ang pldt, or iignore ko na lang yung letter, dahil alam ko sa sarili ko na cleared na ako at wala na akong babayaran. ang ipinag-aalala ko lang kasi na pag tumawag pa ako sa collecting agency ay lalo lang nila akong guluhin sa maliit na halagang gusto nilang makuha. ano kaya ang mas magandang gawin, abala rin kasi sa oras ang ganitong bagay mabuti man lang kung totoo yung demand nila. maraming salamat!

that i dont know, sir. that's why i kept on guessing also how they were able to generate such amount, the fact that my phone and dsl connection had been disconnected already and i have paid the remaining balance. and during that time the line hasn't been restored yet since we lost the connection, that's why we've just decided to discontinue the subscription. kaya nga nakapagtataka kung saan at pano sila nakapag generate ng halagang yun samantalang wala na akong connection even the time that im settling my last bill, kasama na doon ang pagbalik ng modem, modem charger at lan cable.
