Hi po, I have filed my resignation Aug. 4 with the effective date on Oct. 4. But my employer asked me to extend because of the number of turn over documents that I need to do. The problem is he did not let me start immediately on the turn over and that's the reason why he's asking me to extend. Now, in my new work, they are requiring the clearance and my start date is nearing and I'm not yet done with the turn over documents in my current work. Is there any way where I can ask them not to require the clearance? Is there a letter like I can just submit to them telling that I wasn't able to get a clearance because the time for the turn over given to me wasn't enough and that I needed to start immediately on my new work?
