Arresto Menor

We worked for an online english school sa Ortigas, in my case, I sent a resignation letter and then nagabsent na ko after since unprofessional yung boss namin. There is another person who did the same after me, but meron ding 2 na bigla nalang umabsent.
So sa madaling salita, 2 resigned and 2 awol. But I saw sa jobstreet page nila na nakalagay yung pictures naming 4 which is tagged with "Notice of Abandonment and Disciplinary Hearing". Yes, my boss texted me that, and a month after wala naman akong narereceive, so I guess panakot lang. Anyway, my mom got really pissed that she will be seeking a lawyer. Ayoko lang gumastos na naman sila, this is my fight so I want to start my own.
So last week, another employee was absent and then presented a med cert the next day, pero tinerminate siya. She is so disgruntled that she wants us to go to NLRC tomorrow cause she knows a person, etc.
Ang akin lang, ayokong ma-technical kami. I am suggesting that we go to barangay first to file our whatever para sa mediation process.

Before I didn't care, okay lang idemanda niya ko, i will counter. pero how many more will suffer the same fate? Naaawa lang ako sa ibang employees niya kasi mga kapos sa buhay kaya sumusunod sa kanya.

Let me give you the best, when I was there 2 months ago, she told us that a person from DOLE is coming so she gave us things to say, she even made adjustments sa salary para daw hindi kami ma tax-an (since probationary lag kami). She announced it./ I knew right then that there's something fishy with her hole-in-the-sack company but i didn't mind, tax-wise

Also, our office hour start from 2-11pm. But we need to arrive 15 mins before the time, arrive at 1:46 then you will pay 200. Arrive 2:01 then it's 500. Another easy money for these suckers. We have no overtime pay since classes in Korea end at 11pm, although magpapatawag ng meeting especially on Fridays which most of the time 12:30 na matatapos. One time, salary day natapat sa Friday, 3am niya na nabigay yung salary kasi im sure inadjust pa yung payslip. Our stay in the office is NOT PAID.

She designates cleaners, CLEANERS, although nakalagay sa piece of paper she calls contract na kailangan namin maglinis.. When my friends heard this, they were like oh report that somewhere. Cleaning tasks are VACCUMing, paglalaba ng rags, taking out trash, etc.

Tama po ba yun? Napakaraming loopholes ng company niya, people just follow her out of fear of being sacked.

Barangay has no jurisdiction in employment matters.

File a complaint with DOLE and/or NLRC if you have work-related concerns.
