Just curious. If a supervisor keeps on asking for your resignation letter, infront of other employees, and you (out of pride) gave out a resignation letter - can you hold that supervisor responsible and can you sue the company for it? FYI: I have been vocal about wanting to resign because I really am having difficulty adjusting with my immediate superior, and the workload itself. My colleagues know about it, but I never really got to a point where I filed an actual resignation until I finally got offended because one time, while having lunch break with my colleagues, our supervisor asked me in front of everyone where my resignation letter is. So the next day, I gave it to him.

Thanks!

You've been vocal about it so he reacts accordingly.

He may feel you are already no longer reliable at work so to make things easier for him and the company, he will start to look for a replacement already.
