Cancellation by the insurer of an insurance policy other than life requires (a) prior notice to the
insured, and (b) any of the following grounds:

1. Non-payment of premium;
2. Conviction of a crime out of acts increasing the hazard insured against;
3. Fraud or material misrepresentation;
4. Willful or reckless acts or omissions increasing the risk insured against;
5. Physical changes in the property insured making it uninsurable; and
6. Determination by the Insurance Commissioner that the policy would violate the Insurance Code.
