NBI Clearance got HIT

hello gud day! i would just like to ask if i would have the criminal record of shoplifting. I was caught way back 2009 in a grocery shop lifting, but then I was only 17 years old and so a minor. They brought me to their office and planned to take a picture of me. Siguro they realized i was just a minor so they didnt take a picture and just got my personal informations. Nakasuhan po kaya ako? Because last time I applied to NBI, I was HIT.

I am very nervous and frightened. Thank you in advance for your advice.

i don't think the shoplifting will appear in your nbi. just get your clearance

I was caught shoplifting in 2007 or 2008. The They got all the info and photos of me. Pero hindi po nila ako pinagbayad, dahil po nagawa ko yon para makabili ng gatas ng anak ko. tapos pinauwi na po nila ako at sinabi na d na nila ako kakasuhan.

Nag-hit po iyong akin today lang. Pinapabalik ako sa March 16. Kinakabahan po ako kung may kaso po sa akin? Wala naman po akong natatanggap ng sub poena. Kailangan po bang mag-file ng complaint ang ninakawan sa police station. Or maaari na nilang gawin na magpakaso sa akin ng hindi ko alam, evidence na po kasi nila ang picture at mga sulat ko don...nireport ba nila ako sa NBI?

it may just be that you have the same name as someone who has a case. just go to the nbi to find out.

good afternoon. i got hit from nbi for estafa po. and as far as i know may nag file posa akin noon. kasi nakapag file na po ako ng application for passport at lalabas na po ung passport. maapektuhan po kaya ung passport application ko dahil doon? kasi need ko daw po mag pa quality. balak ko po sana wait muna ang passport? maapektuhan din po kaya pag kumuha ako ng visa?

it should not affect your passport, but most embassies will ask for an nbi clearance.

Gud am! I renewed my NBI at SM Megamall yesterday. I got a HIT and they said that I should go to victory mall for verification. I have a case way back 2001 and it was already dismissed. Would that be the reason why I got a HIT in my clearance? Thanks!

the only way to make sure is to go to victory mall and find out. better if you bring the documents of your old case particularly the order of dismissal.

Here's my story, back 2009 I applied for new clearance since I did not have my old clerance, it was "HIT" since I worked abroad, I left the country and asked my sister to claim it for me, when she went there, she's been told I have a namesake in batangas, by the way I live in Cebu and never been to batangas,in short they did not give my clearance unless they talk to me. So when i came back i found my old clearance and send to manila, and so it was released for renewal.
Now 2011, i applied for renewal in Cebu, 15 days "HIT" as usual, so i tried my luck to send to manila again like before, as usual again "HIT" na naman and same 15 days? DO you think it has something to do with my namesake in batangas with 3 criminals cases? what if they will not release my clearance? I am here abroad, and besides it is renewal only. Please advise

it probably is for that reason. they have to make sure that you are not the same person, and i'm afraid that you or someone has to contact or go to batangas to get a certification from the court that you are not the accused.

Actually, when I applied for a NEW application back in 2009, they did advise it. But I live in Cebu and its not easy to go to Batangas or even ask somebody to go there? Imagine the expenses that I will incur? I mean they can check my fingerprints if it matches with that person or other ways to cross-check the matter NOT me making the effort for them. It is a foolish system actually, now I know why criminal cases in our country takes so long to solve because of this "palpak" system. Here abroad, they have mainstream system and electronic as well, coz i got my police clearance here and you can really compare the difference. And police officials themselves process my clearance.
One more thing, after I applied for that NEW clearance, when I got back here, I found the old copy, so I sent it to manila and without hussle they released it coz its renewal.
So, now I sent this copy again to Cebu at first for renewal then 15 days and to Manila again for another copy 10 days. Do you think they will NOT release it this time? Even though its renewal only, if so, why did they release my renewal back then in 2009 after knowing all the batangas case frenzy.

hello po. ask ko lng po if pwede bang mgreport ang isang lending company sa nbi for unpaid salary loan. meron po kasi akong unpaid salary loan though di ako pumirma ng any pdc. nawalan po kasi ako ng work kaya di ako nakapagbayad then last month me nareceive akong txt sa lending co na inutangan ko na ipapablotter daw po nila ako sa nbi.pwde po ba un? makakakuha pa ba ako ng nbi clearance? thanks po

imsocute, if it's a renewal, there's greater hope that the clearance will be issued. good luck.

so does it mean po na d sila pwede mgreport sa nbi? and makakakuha pko ng nbi clearance?

they can try to report it, but i doubt they will be entertained. i recommend you get your nbi clearance
