hi. i would like to know is it legal to contest if you already signed a contract with your job description and midway your contract, you are asked to perform a different job? a job way off your job description?

IMO, it should not be insubordination if you do not perform it, but the company does have the right to transfer you to another position.

I applied for a certain position. I signed a contract already. Midway the contract, I am being asked to signed a new contract "disregarding" the old and still valid contract but the position is different from the one I applied to and was assigned to.
