our timing is 8-12pm 1-5pm , my staff always late of 1 hr or 2 and exceed of timing out of 6pm but still deducting his lates but paying his overtime after 5pm. can i make a rule in paying ot should be exceeded to 40hrs a week to compensate the company expenses .
i mean if he came 10am deduction of 2 hrs in the morning and calculate his working hours in a week .so i will start 10am to 6pm less meal time so that is 8 hrs a day x 5 = 40hrs work week and deduct his 2hrs late.
