Hi. We are currently over staffed in our company and I want to know how are we going to get our redundancy pay in caae they offer it. I am currently a manager and has been in this position for almost 2 years. I am employed in this company for more than 4 years but started as a rank and file employee. My question is how will my redundancy pay computed? Is it my current monthly salary x number of years in the company? Or will it be prorated since i have been a manager r for only 2 years? Does this also include allowances or just the basic pay? Ia it taxable? Also how long should the pay be released and would the termination effective immediately? Appreciate any help fom you.

Thanks

has the management stated that you will be terminated for redundancy? this might be premature.

but computation is no. of years x current salary. if there is a fraction of a year, it has to be above mos. to be counted.
