SL and VL Commutable to Cash after Resignation?

Arresto Menor

Ask ko lang, 4 years and 6 months na ko sa company ko, nagsubmit na ko resignation and hanggang April 15, 2013 na lang ako. Nagaayos na ko ng clearance, ask ko HR kung maconvert to cash SL at VL earned ko. Sabi nila, ang maconvert lang to cash yung VL lahat ng SL ko hindi maconvert sa cash.

Tama po ba ito? NGO/Private company po ako, every year nakakaearn kami ng 15 leaves each for vl and sl.

Help me po. Salamat

it will depend on company policy. the law only requires 5 days per year

Arresto Menor

You are still lucky to have 15 VL converted to cash. Since it is a benefit from the employer it will depend on their policy wether or not they will convert it to cash.
