I recently bought a residential land in the province but I dont know how to process the transfer of title in my name. It was not under the seller's (Seller B)name but from the previous seller (Seller A)whom my seller bought the land two years ago. My seller agreed to sell the land at a much lower rate than when he purchased it. However, I have to shoulder all the taxes. The original owner and my seller didnt pay any taxes since their deed of absolute sale was signed and notarized two years ago. My question is, can I transfer the land title in my name, directly from Seller B and am I going to pay for the taxes due for the sale of the land from Seller A to Seller B, then to me?

technically, that's 2 sales and it would make you liable for twice the taxes plus a surcharge because taxes on the first sale was not paid timely.

try to contact the registered owner and nego a deal for him to execute a new contract between him and you. good luck.

thank you very much. It is a very good suggestion. I talked to the original owner and he agreed to follow your advise.
