Hi, you might be a reliable source of advise. I convey my resignation letter last Dec 26, 2012, effective on Jan 25, 2013.
However, my employer sell the business and the official turn-over will be on Jan 19, 2013. I have read on one of the articles that employers are not obliged to a separation pay for resigning employees. Considering that the date of effectiveness of my resignation will still be on the 25th, will I still be entitled with a severance pay? Your justification will be highly appreciated.
