Brainwashed Kid

Good Morning, I am a mother of an 8 year old kid,I have a very serious problem because my son is not under my custody,it is under the mother in law because my estranged husband is in jail, i know i have all the rights to took my son and be under my custody however,they brainwashed my son's mind that i abandoned him,not knowing that my estranged husband is a drug user and a prisoner, what can i do to file a case against my mother in law? PLEASE I BADLY NEED HELP. Thank you

what is the end result that you want? visitation rights to your child? full custody? how did it happen that you child is with them and not with you?

i suggest you start small. if they refuse to let your child see you, then file a complaint at the barangay where your child is. Then move it up to the DSWD also there.

If that doesn't work, your legal remedy is to file a petition for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus, and custody of minor.

Ya we do have the same sentiments! Same tayo ng tawag sa mother in law "MOnster mother in law!" However in my case, nakuha ko anak ko before nila ma brainwash. Cla pa may kasalanan, cla pa ang matapang.. im just waiting for any case na i file ng mother in law ko sa akin about my txt messages . eh, nagalit ako, kasi sabi nya, tinapon daw nya lahat ng damit ng anak ko at ginawang trapo... Very bad... Pero di ako natatakot sa kanya, although may pera cya pero i will stand what is right! One thing important Kayeren, is the power of prayer!

Do some legal actions, talk to your attorney...i think attyLLL has given you some advise already, go and do it! tatagan mo loob mo Kayeren, Fight for your right and for your child's future!

thanks juliet for a very warm reply, it's always been nice to know that someone is encouraging you to fight. yeah, i am going to fight for my right, ipapakita ko sa monster byenan ko na hindi lahat pera ang katapat, sana nga lang makakuha ako ng atty na affordable,willing naman ako na hatiin anuman ang makukuha namin in case maipanalo namin yung case, ang importante sa akin ngaun ang mapa sa akin ang anak ko kasi wala syang kinikilalang magulang.thank you and more power to you and your son.
