Hi, My deceased grandfather owns a lot in Cebu and there is this company who wants to buy the said lot. My uncles and aunts decided to sell the lot, the problem is two of my uncles are living out of the country, my mom is in Manila and the rest are in Cebu. My question would be, what documents do we have to prepare for selling the lot?

Should the transfer or sale of the lot be shouldered by the company or is there a part for us to pay as well?

They are planning to authorize one of thier siblings in Cebu so that the transaction would be much easier, what do we need in order to authorize my aunt in Cebu to sell the lot?

Thanks and God bless. Smile

If ur family decided to sell it, then all the heirs must agree and sign the document. With regard to expenses, normally the Seller pays the CGT or Capital Gain Tax to BIR. However, it would depend on both parties if u come up with an agreement. Since they are Company, u can just demand for Certain amount and let them agree to shoulder the CGT and other expenses.
