Hello po. I just want to know po kung may habol po ba isang babae against sa live-in partner niya. actual scenario is that the couple has been living as "husband and wife" but out of marriage for nine years, they have an eight year old son. the "husband" is a licensed mechanical engineer who is currently in singapore for almost a year. naiwan sa pilipinas yung "wife". then lately, nagkakalabuan na relationship dahil sa third party. in short may ibang karelasyon po yung guy. what are the rights of the "wife" and the son? are there any charges that the "wife" could charge against the "husband"? hope to hear any reply for help. thank you very much and more power...

As for the rights of the child, he is entitled of financial support from the father (I assumed that the birth certificate was signed by the father) the partner doesn’t have any right for spousal support.

And for the properties acquired, those shall be governed by the rules on co-ownership

thanks a lot for the reply. can the girl charge any case against the guy sa ginawa niyang panloloko? it's like umaasa lang yung girl na in the near future magpapakasal sila which was their plan in the first place.

i think it is qualified psychological abuse of RA 9262. your 8 yr old child can prove the relationship existed, as well as other people you both know
